Post written on “Lean On” (feat. MØ & DJ Snake)
A couple of weeks ago, Caroline and I talked about having a little fun with my brand of printed leather clutches, Jenni Jane. We decided to create a cross collab photoshoot between her blog caroline the city, her “Hey les copines” community and Jenni Jane.
We wanted the pictures to be beautiful, energetic and filled with colors. We also wanted to capture the Californian spirit of the bags, our lives in L.A and imprint the pictures with women energy and a great friendship vibe. I immediately thought of my friend Alexia, talented photographer, to join the collab as I knew she had the talent to capture it all.
We decided to set the photoshoot in the morning at the LACMA (L.A Contemporary Museum)* & in the street in West Hollywood*, one of my favorite district in L.A. Eva and Sandra joined our little team on that morning. After all, it was meant to be a “Hey les copines” collab so the more the merrier. Numerous laughters and hundred of pictures later I am so happy to share our photoshoot:
We had also a special guest on that day, Dominik, who happened to be taking some travel pictures in front of the Made in LA wall. We basically hijacked him and told him to join our photoshoot. Thinking back about it I don’t think we gave him much choice. He could not say no to 5 overjoyed women. We gave him Le Silverlake clutch as it had been bought by men and just told him to go with the flow. Looking at the picture with him, I feel there is a little Charlie’s Angels or a James bond vibe to it. Don’t you think?
I always love to see behind the scenes segment so I cannot help myself from sharing some of our BTS pix with you:
The pictures feature Le Soho clutch, Le Sobea clutch, Le Quai de Seine clutch, Le Silverlake clutch.
As always, comment & share.

* If you are visiting L.A, even if you are not fond of visiting museum, you should stop by the LACMA even just for the surroundings. There are amazing art installations outside as well as a huge rock “levitating” above ground that is great to see.
*The Made in LA wall is situated at 8025 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046.
