The 3 mood boards to kick off 2016 (Zinque, West Hollywood)

Post written in my office listening to “Sunrise” (from Amit Friedman sextet, featuring Tamar Eisenman. You should also listen to a little bonus duo between her and Asaf Avidan Hey Woman)

2016.

First post of the year.

I ended 2015, with a Wake Up post for the quiet souls in this world. I thought the first post for 2016 had to be a happy and vibrant one. You know how much I love visuals, so let’s take the pictures out and create some mood boards.

First, let’s set up the mood for the year.

Jump, Splash, Be bold, Wander, Smile! (Some of these pics were taken from Pinterest)

Second, let’s set up the style.

Classic with a twist. Think and feel lighter: clutches should be back in your life. (Some pictures were taken from Pinterest. The rest from http://www.jennijane.com)

And lastly let’s set up the cultural background.

Some old movies, some contemporary dance moves, some timeless photographs, some books never finished, some icons inspiration and some Giacometti to never forget to see things with a different perspective.

I would love to know what are your moods for 2016, don’t be shy leave a comment and as always, share this post.

xoxo

J.
