Happiness Therapy Poetry (Bottega Louie, Downtown Los Angeles, California)

Post written while listening to the noise surrounding me…

Talking about happiness with a friend of mine recently, inspired by my grand-mother’s poems I recently re-red, I found myself writing a mix between a stream of consciousness and a short poem about happiness …

” Today I marched on the path of Hope

I looked at the Sun and burnt my thoughts and doubts

To replace them with dreams;

I chanted with the birds and smiled at the clouds

I took a deep breath only to find myself floating over the city

Realizing that Happiness is sometimes easier to perceive from above than from the ground. ”
